(big bamboo ...The pinning I did on Jans' floor. (big bamboo floor). At first I did it in knee-elbow position, but when my neck started to hurt, I just sat down on my bum. It took about 90 minutes to pin the cats. The patchwork is all cotton, the blocks are machine sewn, the blocks I assembled by hand (in our Sweden holydays). At first I quilt "in the ditch!, but I'm afraid the in-between-spaces on the cats will be to big. I think I'll quilt cat foot prints on the greens and flower or leaf "prints" on the cats. I think pinning is more difficult in some ways than quilting. How do you plan to quilt it? I wish we had a magic carpet so we could get together and quilt. Wouldn't that be fun?!!! The cats, the Escher kitties look great in these colors. What is the fabric? Is it all cotton? Is it machine pieced?
