Voor mijn BJProjecten neem ik steeds een stukje van de wereldkaart. Voor maart is Kamtsjatska aan de beurt, een schiereiland met als hoofdplaats Petropavlovsk-Kamtsjatski, gevestigd door de Deense ontdekkingsreiziger Bering.
I use pieces of the worldmap for my BJProjects. March brought me to the Kamchatka Peninsula with the capital, Petrpavlovsk-Kamchatsky, founded by the Danish explorer Bering.

Ik heb Petropavlovski als centraal punt genomen. Ik had veel plezier in het circulaire kralenborduren, het land met witte kralen en de zee met blauwe.
I took Petropavlovsky as the center. I enjoyed the circular bead embroidery, blue for the water, white for the land.
I really like your idea for using maps as inspiration for your beadwork... maps and historical maps are so interesting! Great job!
